IAAC Response to Bill 20 Amendments
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Amendments to Bill 20 miss the point entirely
Montreal, Canada – Tuesday May 26, 2015 – Carolynn Dubé, Executive Director of the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada (IAAC), responded to the proposed amendments to Bill 20 for assisted procreation, ‘At first glance it seems that the government will be applauded for making amendments to Bill 20. Let me be clear, Bill 20 and these amendments still severely restrict access for the average middle class Quebecer who needs medical treatment to start their family. Bill 20 is a step backwards in reproductive healthcare in the Province of Quebec.’
