On November 28 Quebec’s Minister of Health, Dr. Gaétan Barrette, put forward Bill 20, seeking to significantly alter a program that has allowed many individuals and couples to access the medical treatment they need to build their families safely. While we are happy to see that after a thorough review the Quebec government recognises the value of maintaining some level of financial assistance for those struggling with infertility, we have significant concerns over the impact this will have on our patient community.

Job Posting - Executive Director

Role Summary

Reporting to the IAAC Board of Directors, the role of the Executive Director is to provide organizational support to IAAC. The Executive Director will work in conjunction with the Association’s Board of Directors to ensure that IAAC realizes its mission and its vision, including successful fundraising initiatives in order to maintain financial stability. The Executive Director is responsible for the effective functioning and administrative processes of the organization. This includes establishing and documenting the organizational policies and procedures, budgeting and financial management and maintaining collaborative relationships within and outside IAAC as well as ensuring good public relations. The Executive Director will assist in the marketing and promotion activities of IAAC including Creating Families the organization's magazine.
